Normandy 44 was formed in 1999 by a group of like-minded vehicle and militaria collectors. We have chosen to portray the 2nd Rangers Battalion { U.S. Army } and the 102nd Cavalry Sqaudron from June 1944 onwards.

We own about 14 vehicles at the moment and that includes our two new additions, namely our two M24 Chaffee tanks. We also own a M9A1 Halftrack amoungst other things. We are a double award winning group and have amonst others the 2003 award for best display at the Military Odyssey show in the UK, which is the biggest multi-period show of it's type in the world. We had a real Higgins boat Landing craft there as well as 20 ton of sand and real Normandy beach obstacles as well as a full size German Bunker.
